This questions will save you time and make delegating easier

May 7, 2024

Ever wish you had a “second you” on your team or in your business? You’re not alone. And if you’ve been listening to the for a while, you know that finding this “second you” has something to do with delegating, but it’s more nuanced than that. In this week’s episode of Managing Made Simple, I share the one question you can ask to dramatically increase the success of replicating some of the “you” magic when you hand something off, while saving time in the process.

Quick spoiler – that question is “WHY?” Why you take that step, make that move, do that thing.

Answering this question not only gives our team members helpful context they need to replicate our success, it gives us a chance to validate if a step in our process is even needed. More often than that, there’s a step (or three) in anything we’ve been doing for a while where the answer to “why” is “because it’s how I’ve always done it,” and it’s a chance to remove or adjust that step.

Feeling like you’re too crucial to certain processes to hand them off? This episode will change your mind and show you how to expand your capacity by empowering others.
